Elimination of trash receptacles as a floor hazard

Two sets of three disposable trash receptacles, mounted on plastic "O" rings are located conveniently within the wall on the three solid surface walls of the room. Each receptacle is designated ("sharps," "biologics," or "trash,") and is emptied between cases to ensure sterilization. Further, the receptacles allow for easy recovery of sponges and other surgical materials that must be counted following the procedure.
